I​ had​ a ​condo listed for sale in the super hot Mount Pleasant neighbourhood. The unit was vacant and empty. However, it was clean and in great shape. Because units in the neighbourhood were selling so quickly, my client and I decided that selling it while empty would be fine. We had 30+ groups through the first two open houses, which resulted in zero offers. During the next few weeks, we had over 40 groups through, did a price reduction, and still did not get any offers.​ ​ The overwhelming feedback was that the bedroom and living room were too small for most buyers (young couples) and some agents suggested that staging the condo might help.
